I’ve been kicking around the idea of playing this game for a while now because I love the Harvest Moon games, but haven’t made up my mind yet. I’ll keep your praises of it in mind.

I agree! While I could get really into maximizing my income each month, I’ve been focusing on building an orchard and mining resources this playthrough.

I just picked up and have played Stardew Valley for the first time. Such a great game and tickles all my fancies from the original harvest moon, and goes beyond that. At first I obsessed with trying to do everything and maximize my income and freaked out at mistkaes i made, but i then took a chill pill and the games gotten even better when you play it all laid back.
